When it comes to the actual technicians at Aster Diagnostic Center, there’s a level of professionalism and expertise that should be acknowledged. Both the ultrasound and MRI technicians are skilled and experienced, so you can feel confident that you’re in capable hands once you reach them.nnHowever, my experience with the ultrasound process left me feeling uncomfortable. Given that the vast majority of patients undergoing ultrasound are women, it feels inappropriate to have a male ultrasound specialist probing the pelvic area, despite the presence of female nurses. This is not a reflection on the technician’s abilities, which were excellent, but more about the discomfort around gender in such a sensitive procedure.nnThe real issue, though, is the disorganization and lack of coordination between Aster’s medical centers and the Diagnostic Center. It took weeks for them to contact me about an appointment, and when they did, the instructions provided were completely wrong. For my ultrasound, I was told to come with an empty bladder, only for the technician to inform me it should have been full. In the case of my MRI, the opposite happened—I was told to arrive with a full bladder, but it needed to be empty.nnThis kind of poor communication and long delays in scheduling make the experience frustrating. Aster needs to improve the efficiency of their internal coordination and provide accurate instructions to patients to avoid confusion and unnecessary discomfort. There’s definitely room for improvement.nnP.S. Below is the state of my hand three-days after the nurse poked for injecting the MRI dye😕

Horrible experience. I got 5-7 mins late and as per their rule they wait for 15 mins for the patient and take their consent to give the slot to someone else. But without my consent they have given my slot to their known one and told me to come after 2 weeks. I am having very serious knee injury. Somehow I managed to come from sports city to bur dubai that took more than 2 hours to reach here bcs of traffic and after coming here they are saying we can’t accommodate you because out known is taken your slot.nTheir staff as well don’t care about patients. All because of MRI technician who was favoring their closed one was not following the rules. Avoid going this place
