  I had a fantastic guided tour at Curtin University Dubai! The campus is modern, vibrant, and well-equipped, creating an inspiring environment for students. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, providing great insights into the programs, student facilities, and the supportive academic community.   I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Cybersecurity at Curtin University in Dubai, and my experience here has been exceptional. The university offers a comprehensive and cutting-edge curriculum that is both challenging and engaging. The professors are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced in their fields but also genuinely invested in the success of their students. nThe campus facilities are modern and well-maintained, providing an excellent environment for both studying and socializing. The university's commitment to student development is evident through its various support services, including career counseling, academic advising, and numerous extracurricular activities. nOne of the standout features of Curtin University is its strong focus on practical learning. The university frequently organizes workshops, seminars, and industry visits, giving students valuable hands-on experience and exposure to real-world scenarios. This practical approach has significantly enhanced my understanding of cybersecurity concepts and prepared me well for future career opportunities. nAdditionally, the diverse and inclusive community at Curtin University has made my time here truly enriching.   If you think you're getting a good deal because you get go in a top 1% university, think again because trust me when I say there are far better universities in Dubai for an even lower price compared to this university. nI was a student in this university and to be straight forward, the Dubai Campus does not care about their students, it's money first for these people. nFirstly, there was an instance wherein there was a rude and unprofessional professor in foundation for computer class and whenever students inquire to her she would answer rudely, resulting to an unstable environment with negative which students cannot foster in. There were already many complaints regarding this professor because due to her attitude, many students failed and therefore had to pay again as it's a u201crequiredu201d unit for most. Hearing this, the university did not do anything until one student came forward with recordings of how the professor spoke to students in a rude manner and her telling students it's required for them to have a windows only computer. Which is very unfair, because she literally told students that have a Mac to get a windows laptop instead and is tone deaf because not everyone has the finances for that. As a professor her job was to teach and she couldn't even do that, therefore after the student complained in person they finally did something and removed the professor mid semester wherein they subbed a professor whose expertise are academic writing not computer. So from there, you can already see how they don't care about their students, the ones failed had to pay again no refunds or anything. Even the ones that were taking the course during the trimester the professor was removed. They didn't get proper lessons from a qualified professor yet they still had to pay. nAnother is one of a student faculty who seemed kind and welcoming but in reality many freshers specifically women, complained about this student faculty due to unprofessional behavior as he targeted young women and made them uncomfortable. If the university cared and wasn't biased, they wouldn't be putting such people in a highly regarded position. So would you want your child to be in an unsafe environment where you can't even trust faculty. nIn general, if you fail with a very valid reason such as an incompetent professor. No, you won't be refunded in fact they'll find a way to say its your responsibility and indirectly blame you and waste your time and money by requiring you to take that said unit again (if it's a core unit). Regarding their communication, it is understandable to have a late response for a few days but totally ignoring students for specific issues is another thing and especially if you are deceiving students and not being fully open with important details that a student has the right to know about. nAs an alumni from Curtin Dubai this is all real experiences and to clarify it could be a different situation/environment in the Perth campus. But if you find yourself considering this university in Dubai and you read this review, please take it into account before making a decision because university is a foundation in forming a student's career and outlook in life. Based on other reviews here in Google, most say it's pricey and it is so if you have the money invest it in a better university. Don't base it in the statistics or titles a university promotes to you, find the university with the students that come out happy because students are what represents the university's quality. nFor the Curtin Dubai staff reading this, you should know better as you definitely see what's going on inside. Use this as a chance to be better and have a self reflection on what impact you have on students that chose Curtin Dubai.

  I'm currently a student Studying Accounting and Finance (Double Major) In Curtin university Dubai and I have to say, it was been fantastic. I had the privilege to be the sports coordinator for Cricket, and the university has supported the team really well with a solid team and weekly practice sessions, Tournament participation in which we have come 2nd and 3rd out of 3 tournaments. Other sports have also received fantastic support and great results within our university playing amongst other universities aswell, the coaching as well as the venues of training that the university offers is spectacular and I am glad to become more involved in sports in our university.

  The Student life at Curtin University is a very happening place for all the students. With fun filled activities to interactive learning opportunities coupled with career growth. Curtin has transformed my social and professional life giving me more opportunities than i would get elsewhere.
