I had a wonderful experience at Wellness by Design with Dr. Lama and the two nurses.nI loved how Dr Lama explained to me thoroughly about my Weight results (BMI, Muscle Mass etc..) and what it is that I need to do and take for a healthier body.

My visit to Wellness by Design was outstanding. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the clinic had a calming, immaculate atmosphere. The professionals were highly skilled, explaining everything thoroughly and making me feel completely at ease. Their combination of hospitality and expertise made for a great experience. I highly recommend them!

I don't know how I've missed this absolute gem of a place for years! Today I visited with complaints of feeling constantly tired and fatigued not being able to sleep or over sleeping. I saw the amazing Dr. Lama for a quick chat. I then had just an IV drip and I feel amazing tonight. I will definitely be back very soon to sort out other skin conditions like adult acne breakouts and fixing my nutrition 100% recommend even if nothing is wrong.

I recently had an extremely distressing experience at this health center along with my father. We were advised that the gastric balloon was the most suitable option for us. After completing the necessary blood tests, we were assured that we were both eligible and that the procedure was safe, with symptoms expected to subside within a week.nnHowever, the reality was far from what we were told. We did not meet the gastric balloon doctor until the day of the procedure. After paying a substantial amount for the procedure, the clinic's concern for our well-being disappeared. Both my father and I suffered from severe pain and nausea for an entire month, to the point where we could not even drink water. Despite repeatedly contacting the doctor about these issues, he consistently dismissed our concerns, even when I mentioned having constipation for three weeks, which he claimed was normal.nnThe situation deteriorated to the extent that we had to have the gastric balloons removed at a different hospital. The bariatric surgeon there informed us that an endoscopy should have been performed before the procedure to check if the gastric balloon could be placed. Additionally, the gastric balloon should have been placed during another endoscopy to ensure proper placement, which was not done in our case. As a result, both my father and I suffered from circumferential inflammation, a 2cm hiatal hernia, severely inflamed GE junction, findings of undigested food, bile gastritis, and preserved peristalsis.nnDue to this negligence, we are now on medication for two months to manage the complications caused by the gastric balloon. I strongly advise anyone considering this clinic to think twice and seek a second opinion to avoid such a horrendous experience.
