Don't visit orthodontist Dr. Rami Nahal in this clinic! Awful experience in simple rthodontics procedure!!!nI have retainers after brackets for already 9 years. During this 9 years several links of retainers have unstuck only twice and my second time happened in Dubai. I didn't know where to go, was looking for orthodontist- and found The Dome Clinic via google, was impressed by the number of positiv reviews here, I checked on their website and insta their orthodontist Dr. Rami Nahal, that he has proven experience, education, etc. and decided to go here. So, it was my mistake. 1) they don't have any kind of price list. During the appointment booking manager coldn't give me info about what options may be in my case and what can be the approximately price for each option. when I came on visit- doctor reviewed the mouth and told me the price- when I asked to explain what does this price includes- he started to bargain with me 2) when the doctor finished - and asked to check me with my tongue - I understood that it is a disaster. If you know what are the retainers - it should be fixed only in one place on each tooth with a small amount of material, so you can clean between the teeth with toothpick, special tooth brush and dental floss, so you almost don't feel with the tongue the material - only the retainer itself. It wasn'like this. The doctor filled up all my teeth with the material, I feel this material, like there is solid piece of cement or glue on the whole my lower teeths, the material even was on the front side of my teeth, it got there from the gaps between teeths, it shouldn't be like this. When I tryed to explain him what is wrong- he tryed to convince me that it should be like that, that my previous doctor covered only 30% and he did 100%. I decided to leave their clinic - just being afraid that fixing this he can do even worse. To fix the retainers is very easy procedure for orthodontist, I wasn't afraid to visit doctor abroad, because I was sure, that it is impossible to do something wrong during this procedure, to spoil it, that it is unified, common one, which do every orthodontist. But he did it wrong, I feel this material on my teeth all the time, he covered all my retainer, so I even don't feel the retainer itself, but only the material. I am sure, that practicing, competent, skilled doctor would be able to do such an easy procedure correctly, but I can claim - that it wasn't good, professional work. And it was just the procedure of retainer fix in my case, I am really afraid what is he doing with the patients during the bracket system instalation, which is more responsible. Two weeks past, I understood that it is impossible to go like this and I will have to go to another clinic to fix it. And I suppose it will even cost me twice more, than I payed in Dome clinic, because the other doctor will have now to remove all this material from my teeth and install now the whole lower retainer (not several links like it was, when I came to this clinic). I think the doctor I will visit to correct this procedure will laugh a lot when he will see what Dr. Rami did in my mouth
My favourite dentist in Dubai is Doctor Vera. I'm so happy to find a doctor who has the same mindset with me and is not suggesting treatments unless it's really medically needed. She listened to my concerns from the previous checkups in other clinics and suggested a solution that I was happy with. She did a proper analysis before suggesting it - x-ray and CT scan to ensure that the approach is safe. She has also suggested me a clear plan to follow moving forward. Her approach is really ethical and thorough. I already have 6 fillers done by her and will surely go for further treatments
