Really happy and satisfied with the service and facilities provided by Dr.Agatha Moniz and the nursing staff. From pregnancy, delivery and post delivery every one was polite, helpful and handled everything efficiently and patiently with a bright smile. The patient rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped and well maintained. No delays in request and queries. Would recommend the doctor as well as the hospital for a smooth and stress-free treatment. Hope they maintain this standards. Just wished the radiology appointments(female) were easier to book as the availability was limited but the Radiologist is good. nNote: call n check with the hospital for insurance coverage before visiting.

I would like to share my 2 cents regarding my experience at Medcare Women and Children's FACILITIES. As a high risk pregnant, I've been on and off to their emergency rooms and I must say every timeni get admitted there, maternity rooms are always full so they put me in a labour room or ICU room in order for me to get treatment. Understandable about my condition being in the labour room, but using it as a temporary room because all rooms are occupied are unreasonable. They will only take you to ward if there is a room available. nI would suggest that extending your maternity wards to accommodate patients of all kinds are covered properly and given priority and not let them stay somewhere else. nNICU facility most especially needs attention especially when parents come to visit their babies. They need proper privacy with proper seats that are comfortable to nursing mothers who are unable to walk. The breastfeeding station is so bad, sofas are very low and arm rest is broken, which is not very helpful if you are a recovering c-section mother like me. Improving your facility is very essential since a lot of parents come to your hospital. nGenerally, the hospital itself needs improvement. luckily, I have an amazing doctors which I still commend on their service and will still be my reason to come back.

Horrible Experience at Medcare Women and Children Hospital in Al Safa 2, Dubai**nnI had my first baby boy born at Medcare Women and Children Hospital in Al Safa 2, Dubai, and it was the worst experience imaginable. The service was appalling. Despite my wife pressing the call button in pain, no one responded. After 30 minutes, I checked at the reception, and the call from ROOM 09 was still unanswered. The staff seemed completely indifferent to the patients' needs, they told us that they will come to put antibiotics at 2Pm and then they push at 4PM and then 6PM and finally 8PM !!!! We were supposed to leave the room in the morning .. of course they want to charge US MORE .. nTo make matters worse, without insurance, we were charged excessively. We had opted for a package that was supposed to cover everything for 17,000 AED, but we were not informed about additional charges from the beginning or during or before to proceed about the extra charges, the final bill was inflated to 23,000 AED. The hospital staff constantly called us to pay the bill, making us feel like they were more interested in our money than our health. nOur baby was placed in the ICU for two days, and we were charged an extra 15,600 AED for this. The entire experience was a nightmare, from the poor service to the way we were treated. Dr. Agatha's attitude and service were equally disappointing. nOverall, this experience ruined what should have been a joyous occasion. I do not recommend Medcare Women and Children Hospital in Al Safa 2 to anyone. They lack compassion and professionalism, focusing solely on monetary gain rather than patient care.

It was my wife's 3rd delivery but the first one in Dubai. We consulted Dr.Shiva from 8th month of pregnancy. It was a great experience as she explained everything with us and given us a confidence with her profound experience and expertise. We were admitted in hospital on 14th July for delivery and we welcomed by the labor room team lead by Sister Sabitha. Then we met sister Teena, she is an absolute gem kind of person, very talkative and spontaneous with jokes. Despite of pain, her joke eases the situation and helped us to recover from the ambiguity and prejudice mind. Teena sister was very helpful and come to us regularly checking each and every vitals to ensure all goes smoothly till next day morning ending her shift. Then we handed over to another gem of a person sister Femi, equally helpful as Sister Teena. Sister Femi was there with us until the delivery on the same day evening as a helping hand.On the other side, though sister Teena finished her shift and went home however frequently did the follow up and ensured everything under control and that helps to release our stress. At some point, we were gone through a difficult time but the entire team shows their capabilities in handling such situations. Finally the moment arrived that our new born delivered to the safe hands of Dr. Shiva and Dr.Geetha, sister Sabitha, sister Femi and Sister Priyanka. Surrounded by amazing team of experts in the labor room, they tried to the last minutes for a normal delivery than a C section despite of some challenges around. After all the labor room procedures, we then transferred to the room and handed over to the Ward team. Sister Shilpa was very helpful in the ward until our discharge. Overall, it was a great experience. We can't thank enough to Dr.Shiva, Dr.Geetha, and nurses Teena, Femi, Sabitha, Priyanka and Shilpa for their professional and personal support. This team is highly recommended based on our experience. Thank you all !!!
