I met with Dr Mellia Begum for the first time today, I've had some very terrible psychiatrist appointments in the past and I was quite nervous to meet another. nShe was astounding. She absolutely understood my 20+ years of treatment plans, she didn't infantilise me over medication and say things others have said like u201cyou don't need this medicationu201d, when numerous psychiatrists and therapists over the years have always told me it's vital to my mental health.
