My husband and I went for a check-up yesterday at Enjab. Originally, we had booked an appointment on Thursday at 1:45 PM. However, on the same day at around 10:34 AM, someone from Enjab called to inform me that Dr. Ashraf had an operation scheduled and asked if it would be possible to move our appointment to 2:30 PM. I requested if we could at least meet him at 2:00 PM because we needed to return to Dubai since my husband had to go to work. Since we were unable to make the rescheduled time, we called Enjab to move our appointment to Sunday at 3:45 PM. On the day of our appointment yesterday with Dr. Ashraf, we arrived at Enjab before 3:30 PM since our appointment was at 3:45 PM. As part of the normal procedure, we approached the receptionist and informed them about our appointment with Dr. Ashraf. They confirmed that our appointment was booked and asked us to wait. After about five minutes, a nurse called me to check my vital signs before meeting the doctor. After the check, we were asked to sit and wait for our turn to see Dr. Ashraf. We expected to be called shortly since we had an appointment scheduled. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting for more than an hour and no one called us. We decided to approach the reception desk again to ask about the usual waiting time because we had already been waiting for over an hour. That was when we were informed that there were still three more patients ahead of us. Upon hearing this, the receptionists did not offer any assistance or explanation to help ease the situation. We simply said thank you and decided to leave. We truly appreciate Dr. Ashraf and his reputation, but we were very disappointed with what happened and with the experience we had at Enjab. We hope this review reaches the concerned management so they can improve their system and patient communication in the future.
