I'm so disappointed with the speech therapist in this center. The parents are asked to stay in the lobby and the child will go with the therapist to the session where you can't see or hear anything. In the last few sessions I got curious to know what my child is doing during the sessions, so I went to listen through the door and I realised she spends almost first half of the sessions on her own tasks and even telephone calls while my child sits there playing alone 😔 each session is around 450-500 aed. So imagine what a waste of money and time for parents of the late talkers who are trusting this therapist. Wish I had spent on 5 months of speech therapy somewhere else with more responsible and caring therapist. And hope other parents not get fooled and insist on sitting at the therapy sessions and not leaving their speech delayed children with someone who doesn't do her job professionally. It's so unfair way of taking advantage of kids who can't speak. I really can't get it out of my head🙁

My 10 year old son had a severe stuttering problem. It was so bad that he could barely speak a sentence without stuttering at every word. I was referred to Dr. Earncey (Speech therapist) by a friend. We started sessions a year back and saw noticeable improvement within the first few weeks. His speech has improved tremendously over the year. Dr. Earncey has been very patient with my boy though out the sessions. She also provides detailed feedback after each session which helps me support my son. Thank you Dr. Earncey for all your help.

My son has been having Occupational Therapy early intervention with Ms Iriene Johns twice weekly for the past 6 months, he has shown tremendous improvement since he started with eye contact, attention, visual & fine motor skills and overall school readiness. She has been great with sharing tasks to work on at home and has great communication with us. My son loves going to his sessions as well and has so much fun learning with her!

My son started therapy session from DCHC since dec 2022. He is taking OT from Ms Iriene Johns- Paediatric Occupational Therapist .She is an amazing therapist. My little one shows a lot of improvement in response, joint attention and pencil grasp. Iriene is transparent in her work guides me and provides lot of valuable inputs on home programs, to follow routine activities which helps very well. She is friendly, my son is eager to meet Iriene and enjoys his OT session. I appreciate her, and strongly recommend her for Occupational therapy.

Very grateful that I had the chance to interact and work with Nikita Barretto over numerous sessions. She instantly made me feel comfortable by being a good listener, taking the time to make notes and remembering them all throughout our sessions, many weeks later. This makes one feel important and heard. She is very kind, understanding and able to put forth an idea in a pleasant way which makes it easy for the receiver to accept and apply changes. She helped me recognize childhood patterns that needed amendments and with her help I was able to accept these and make changes. She also has a good sense of humor and is able to lighten the mood during intense sessions. I definitely recommend her and look forward to working with her in the future.
