I'm writing this review based on my husbands recent experience with Dr. Hillol. He was given epidural for lumbar l5/s1 due to severe pain in lower back. Dr. Hillol made him feel very comfortable, answered all questions, and communicated throughout the procedure as it was done under local anesthesia. Everything was completed as per the schedule. The support at Al Zahra was great. Overall I recommend Dr. Hillol and the team at Al Zahra Hospital.

Dr Hillol is one of the best human beings you can meet in life and to add to it he is an amazing doctor , He keeps it simple and more importantly He is able to connect with his patients and keep them calm regardless of the situation. As a family we've had a great experience with Dr Hillol when he treated my dad with a rare complication. Not only did he help with the medical side if things but also helped us figure out logistics to take my Dad back to our home country.

I met Dr.Hillol in extreme pain.He did a diagnostic test on me and suggested we go the conservative way and watch my symptoms and accordingly decide if surgery would be required. I started my physios & medicines & heat on shoulder & neck area & sometimes used gel plaster on arm to combat pain. In 2 weeks I felt much better and my pain was manageable & in 3 weeks honestly I was surprised my pain was negligible & I started living normal life. I met doctor after a month and he was happy to see me healed. THANK YOU for your diagnosis and guidance I am grateful I healed without surgery. I am grateful to destiny for making me meet Dr.Hillol whose comforting words,guidance and hope made it easy for me to heal.

Dr Hillol is a great doctor with strong humanitarian values . I had the honor to work under his leadership as Medical Director in TUH. As far as my experience goes he is the only MD who was extremely balanced in his approach in liaising with management and doctors both. He was always ready to listen to us and guide us appropriately, with patient care always his main motive . His friendly disposition and smiling personality, made it possible for all the doctors in the team to approach him comfortably any time of the day or night - a rare quality seen in leaders. He is an extremely proficient surgeon and very empathetic doctor. Keeping abridged with latest in technology and applying that clinically speaks volumes for his dedication towards his patients. Apart from the professional qualities he is a keen reader and writes like a pro, must read some of his works. He has written few textbooks which is not an easy task when you are simultaneously learning advancement in neurosurgery. Kudos to all his hard work and sheer persistence. However he takes out time to enjoy nature with a keen eye which he captures very beautifully in his camera- he is a great photographer as well a good cook - if u get the opportunity you must taste his exotic kebabs ud83dude0b. All said and done his biggest virtue is his humility and humane approach. His altruistic self when it comes to helping his fellow colleagues and his patients are inspirational. nI have had a great learning curve working with you Dr Hillol. We met Dr. Hillol in an emergency situation as during our visit to Dubai I experienced severe pain in my leg. On the first appointment he had seen immediately that a surgery won't be avoidable very likely, but he helped me and tried winning time for my planned travel and started to organize an alternative treatment. When we finally decided to go for the surgery, his professionalism and calmness helped us to get through the difficulties. We are blessed for getting to know Mr.Hillol and very pleased for his professionalism and very human attitude. Only those can value this who felt themselves as much dependent as I did.
