Really disappointed in how this clinic managed our appointment. We arrived at 11 am and were seen by the doctor not too long after. He said that an x-ray needed to be performed. We waited for a half an hour and followed up with the front desk. They said they needed approval for the x-ray. They didn’t really provide much guidance other than calling the insurance company. The insurance company said the outpatient approval time was 1.5 hours. I messaged the clinic to see what was happening at the 1.5 hour mark and still no answer. I then called the insurance company and I ask what was happening and they said the clinic never submitted the medical report to gain approval for the x-ray. That they needed to submit the medical report and to call once they did that. I messaged the clinic to submit the medical report and call the insurance company once they submitted the medical report. I have never witnessed such carelessness at a medical facility. 3 hours later and we are still waiting for the approval. We live far and I have a chronic illness. This was not a good experience.
