Came in for a consultation for a report, said there’s nothing wrong and sent us away without a report. When asked for a report he said he can’t do it without a consultation. But that’s what he came for. Lazy doctor and clinic

If you are looking for an excellent psychiatrist, I can highly recommend Dr. Gregor Kowal. I was under his professionial care for 2 years for my depression and am happy to say that I have been cured. For me this means that I am enjoying life again and can manage the tough times, too! CHMC is an institution that has helped save my sanity. Dr Kowal, my psychiatrist , a humble human being, took me in as a patient when I was having rapid cycling through the covid times. My rapid cycling with my bipolar was very intense. I was diagnosed with clinical bipolar in 1997. Now I choose not to suffer but to thrive with it because of Dr Kowal and his team.nnMy case was rather intense with episodes of mania. He tamed it my giving me an amalgamation of a prescription that has helped in different ways to help my bipolar, to control my mood swings, to help my anxiety levels, to care of my depression, make modifications with my no-peaceful sleep. In my case the bipolar is very complex. It is not a straight line treatment, rather multidimensional. This is what CHMC was able to offer me.nnThe smartest professional experts need to hear this story because he gave me 4 different types of medications to tame the spiral in my bipolar. He asked me stay for at least 3 months in Dubai so he could monitor me weekly. He continues to monitor me via zoom and in-person whenever I am able to travel to Dubai.nnMental Health is very tricky, the patient cannot see the inner wound healing of the mind; as quickly as a physical one would be. I was also added to the care of Dr Annette, a psychologist at CHMC. Through her therapy I am able to better understand more about my various roles as a mother, daughter, sister, wife and how to respond rather than react without thinking with these various relationships. CHMC has been able to help me understand that I can teach myself to train myself that I can THRIVE with bipolar if I put in some strength and willpower.nnAnd for people of all ages, parents, families, patients, friends all who are or help persons having bipolar do not need to suffer with bipolar. Getting the right treatment and therapy with the right institute can help you need a very normal, relaxed and peaceful life.nnI want recommend CHMC and particularly Dr Kowal, because despite having more treated more than 6000 patients worldwide, he is humble and caring. He cares more about the HEALING of his patients.nnAnother aspect of sharing this story is that I want to remove the STIGMA and TABOO that revolves around Mental Health. It would in return bring shame, dishonour , perhaps loss in business, lower one's self esteem in their social circle.nIt is true for me too.nBut I am learning to break this TABOO and come forward and talk about spreading AWARENESS about the advancements in medications that are available for persons with Chronic and non-chronic mental health issues.
