I recently had a business meeting with Dr Schonder and Dr Kowal at their practice in Dubai Healthcare City. Lovely people, highly professional and a pleasure to talk with. The doctors obviously work well together which is why they have a busy and successful practice.

Came in for a consultation for a report, said there's nothing wrong and sent us away without a report. When asked for a report he said he can't do it without a consultation. But that's what he came for. Lazy doctor and clinic

Excellent knowledge and skills in helping people healing and recovering from traumas, anxiety and depression. Thanks to you, Dr Kowal, I am better then ever and I managed to overcome the anxiety caused by Covid and all the stress I've accumulated trying to assist others and not realising that I was hurting myself. CHMC is an institution that has helped save my sanity. Dr Kowal, my psychiatrist , a humble human being, took me in as a patient when I was having rapid cycling through the covid times. My rapid cycling with my bipolar was very intense. I was diagnosed with clinical bipolar in 1997. Now I choose not to suffer but to thrive with it because of Dr Kowal and his team. nMy case was rather intense with episodes of mania. He tamed it my giving me an amalgamation of a prescription that has helped in different ways to help my bipolar, to control my mood swings, to help my anxiety levels, to care of my depression, make modifications with my no-peaceful sleep. In my case the bipolar is very complex. It is not a straight line treatment, rather multidimensional. This is what CHMC was able to offer me. nThe smartest professional experts need to hear this story because he gave me 4 different types of medications to tame the spiral in my bipolar. He asked me stay for at least 3 months in Dubai so he could monitor me weekly. He continues to monitor me via zoom and in-person whenever I am able to travel to Dubai. nMental Health is very tricky, the patient cannot see the inner wound healing of the mind; as quickly as a physical one would be. I was also added to the care of Dr Annette, a psychologist at CHMC. Through her therapy I am able to better understand more about my various roles as a mother, daughter, sister, wife and how to respond rather than react without thinking with these various relationships. CHMC has been able to help me understand that I can teach myself to train myself that I can THRIVE with bipolar if I put in some strength and willpower. nAnd for people of all ages, parents, families, patients, friends all who are or help persons having bipolar do not need to suffer with bipolar. Getting the right treatment and therapy with the right institute can help you need a very normal, relaxed and peaceful life. nI want recommend CHMC and particularly Dr Kowal, because despite having more treated more than 6000 patients worldwide, he is humble and caring. He cares more about the HEALING of his patients. nAnother aspect of sharing this story is that I want to remove the STIGMA and TABOO that revolves around Mental Health. Everyone from a normal day to day life bread earner or a CEO of an International multinational feels scared that the world may think of them as a lunatic. It would in return bring shame, dishonour , perhaps loss in business, lower one's self esteem in their social circle. It is true for me too. But I am learning to break this TABOO and come forward and talk about spreading AWARENESS about the advancements in medications that are available for persons with Chronic and non-chronic mental health issues. Family, friends and guardians please support your peers to find treatment. CHMC is one of those WORLD CLASS TREATMENT centers that treats patients with love and recovering with healing treatments. nI am blessed to have my family find Dr Kowal and his team for my treatment. I am now in a much better condition and am now not suffering with bipolar. Rather THRIVING with it. nThank you Dr Kowal, Dr Annette and team at CHMC. God bless.
If you are looking for an excellent psychiatrist, I can highly recommend Dr. Gregor Kowal. I was under his professionial care for 2 years for my depression and am happy to say that I have been cured. For me this means that I am enjoying life again and can manage the tough times, too!
