Mr. Mario is an outstanding physiotherapist. After my meniscectomy, I was nervous about the recovery process, but working with him has been an incredible experience. From day one, he took the time to thoroughly explain every step of my treatment, making sure I understood what was happening and why. His approach is always encouraging, and he has a way of keeping me motivated even on tougher days. He's attentive, patient, and truly dedicated to his work. nThanks to his expertise, I've seen remarkable progress, and I always feel like I'm in the best hands. I couldn't recommend him more highly!

I was admitted to Burjeel Hospital for Advanced Surgery, on the 27th of June 2024 after having an accident at a Safari Tour which resulted in a life-threatening neck injury, with me losing all feeling and movement from my neck down. From the moment I was transferred to Burjeel Hospital from another smaller hospital outside of Dubai, I was treated with the greatest care and attention from all the hospital team. This included the administrative team, lead by Amit Azad, the Operations Manager. nDr Hani Abdelrahim Abdelrazek, my Surgeon was amazing. He explained the procedures I would have to undertake, that started with an MRI, which was challenging for me, as I had an extreme reaction of claustrophobia because of the accident, plus the surgery process. He explained everything to me in a way that put me at ease. He also showed me photos of previous patients who had had great recoveries. His team of doctors, Dr Gazzar, Dr Ala and Dr Ivora Mendes were never far away for any questions we had. They too were supported by an amazing team of nursing staff - Dana, Shiny, Evelyn, Tiju and others were always on hand to help all my needs as I was in a lot of pain. nI also want to give a huge thank you to Thanseeha my physiotherapist. She was there daily, pushing me through my exercises, along with assistance from Nagin. Her exercises were extremely helpful, and I am still doing them on a daily basis, 4 weeks later and will continue to do so to help my recovery. Thanseeha not only showed me how to do the exercises correctly, but she also allowed me to record them, so I remembered how to do them correctly. I am very thankful for the hard work and compassion Thanseeha showed. nOther people Christine and I want to thank are Aadhil, Emad at the front desk and Shabab in security, along with all of the catering and the house keeping team. nWe can't thank all of these people and anyone else who helped make my extremely scary situation and bearable as it could be. Thank you, Burjeel Hospital! If you are ever in Dubai and have a serious accident and you need treatment that Burjeel Hospital can provide then pick them to help you as from our experience you will not find a better, more caring, and extremely talented team anywhere in the world.
