British Neurology Psychiatry Center

I saw a Psychologist there and she was somewhat helpful. I think the only good advice I received was her recommending a book for me to read. Otherwise, I do not feel she was professional with her approach nor did she think of practical solutions / methods / useful knowledge to share with me. In her sessions she would literally say “aw habeebti” a number of times….. and that’s it. She also on a number of occasions tried to minimize the issues I was facing by comparing them to someone else’s problems. During sessions, there were also a couple of times where she would receive a call for her food delivery. During her sessions I also felt judged and as though she was making her own assumptions about matters rather than asking. At times she even ended the session 15 - 20 minutes in when my insurance pays for the full one, not to mention I felt rushed by her at times.nnPlease consider hiring more professional and emotionally intelligent psychologists.

Everyone from reception to the doctors are wonderful. Every doctor that I've seen at the British Neurology Psychiatry Center has been phenomenal. Unfortunately, they keep leaving the practice for whatever reason (I went through 3 doctors in less than a year). The other downside is that the pharmacy never seemed to be open when I had appointments and, when they did, they didn't have my medication in stock - so I had to go to somewhere else (Mediclinic Airport Road or BMMC) to get my meds. I have since left and now see a doctor at Beautiful Mind Medical Center (BMMC) - another great facility where the pharmacy is open after my appointments and the meds are in stock.

The services that I receive from the center is great. Dr. Majd Al Habbal is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of me, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such support and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient!

We had to wait for our turn but given the nature of the consultation, unexpected additional waiting time is not unusual.nnThey have a Great book collection on the waiting area.

To start with, the staff are so friendly and patients can communicate with them easily. Dr. Hussein is one of the best, remarkable, professional doctor I have ever been too. The amount of knowledge he has amazes me. He helped me a lot, I really appreciate all his work for me and other patients.
