I have been coming to Tim for almost 2 years now starting after my ACL Reconstruction. Tim has not only helped guide me through the intense process that is ACL rehab but has also helped me understand the root causes of the various aches and pains I feel (trust me, there are many) rather than only addressing the symptoms. I have been given the tools to take care of my physical well-being but I still come by regularly for a chat. :)
I started visiting BounceBack in mid-December when I was diagnosed with a tear in my SLAP. Making an appointment was very easy thanks to the amazing receptionist Michelle. My appointments are early in the morning and Michelle is always there to great me with a friendly smile and a warm welcome. I was assigned to Lia for physical therapy and am continually amazed by how quickly she is able to give me pain relief during our sessions. Lia seems to have a sixth sense when it comes to finding tight muscles and the causes of my pain. Through soft tissue work, strengthening exercises, and stretches, Lia has been able to decrease my pain and improve my mobility. She has also been able to help me identify what activities are triggering my pain and preventing my SLAP tear from healing. I will be honest I am not the best patient between working at a desk, thinking I can do more than I should, and sometimes forgetting to do my exercise homework properly. Lia is always patient with me and is able to recommend modifications to my activities and exercises. When I have previously been referred to physical therapy for other injuries it was nowhere near this level of care or benefit. It was such a relief and comfort to know that Lia cares and is invested my recovery. Because of all of this I can strongly recommend going to BounceBack if you ever need their services. Not to mention that they are located at beautiful Yas Marina so you can enjoy that as well.
