I've been seeing a specific doctor at this clinic for several months now, and I've generally had a good experience--until recently. I had an appointment scheduled with the same doctor I've been seeing since the beginning of my treatment. The clinic confirmed my appointment as usual, and there was no indication of any changes. nHowever, when I arrived for my appointment, I was told the doctor had left due to an emergency. What frustrated me most was being told that the doctor had actually informed the staff not to notify me in advance, so I would still come in and be seen by another doctor instead. That level of disregard for patient communication and transparency is deeply disappointing. nPatients deserve to be treated with honesty and respect--especially when they've built a rapport with a specific doctor over time. While I understand emergencies happen, the lack of communication and the deliberate decision to withhold information until I arrived in person felt unprofessional and inconsiderate. nI hope the clinic reconsiders how they handle these situations in the future. Patients should never feel blindsided when they've done everything right on their end.
