Dr Aneela operated on a severe long standing issue with my neck, which I had been suffering from for a number of years. Her level of expertise and care was outstanding and the surgery was a complete success. I could not rate Dr Aneela highly enough.

Dr Darbar has been nothing but wonderful from the moment we met her. My father had a deep and complicated brain tumour that she was extremely knowledgable about and reassured us from the first day. She went above and beyond to work with all departments to prepare him for surgery and was always on hand whenever we had any queries. Her nurse Chinju was also a wonderful, positive face who treated us more like family. We as a family are extremely grateful to Dr Darbar and all of her team for their hard work.

I recently underwent microvascular decompression surgery performed by Dr. Aneela Darbar, and I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional care I received from both Dr. Darbar and Nurse Chinju throughout my entire treatment process. nFrom the initial consultation to post-operative care, Dr. Darbar exhibited a high level of expertise and compassion. She took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, addressing all of my concerns with patience and clarity. Her confidence and professionalism immediately put me at ease, making me feel reassured and confident in her and the surgery. nDuring the surgery itself, Dr. Darbar demonstrated fantastic surgical skill and precision. The procedure was successful, alleviating the symptoms I had struggled with. nFollowing the surgery, Nurse Chinju played a crucial role in my recovery also. Her dedication and attentiveness were evident from day one. She monitored my progress with Dr. Darbar, ensuring that I was comfortable and well-informed at every step. Her kindness and warmth made a significant difference during what could have been a daunting recovery period. nOverall, my experience with Dr. Aneela Darbar and Nurse Chinju was nothing short of exceptional. They are not only highly skilled professionals but also genuinely caring individuals who prioritise patient well-being above all else. Dr. Aneela Darbar is an extremely competent, skilled and compassionate neurosurgeon. I underwent a transsphenoidal pituitary cyst removal surgery operated by Dr. Aneela. My wife and I first met Dr. Aneela while seeking a second medical opinion and Dr. Aneela very patiently heard us and explained to us all about my medical issue and her approach towards surgery through the MRI images. Dr. Aneela even explained to us all the risk factors within the surgery and how she will aim to address them during the surgery. This was very comforting as we then knew that she not only has good experience in similar surgeries but also specialises in endoscopic neuro surgeries and is also meticulously aware of risk factors and possible mitigates. Not many doctors explain in writing and in drawing the risk factors and the fact that she did explain the risk factors in detail and her approach towards them gave us more confidence to undergo the surgery. We were not sure whether we need to immediately undergo the surgery or we should wait, to which Dr. Darbar explained the pros and cons and asked us to monitor the specific symptoms beyond which we cannot wait. True to her explanation within a week thereafter I started having the symptom which triggered us to make an immediate decision to undergo the surgery under Dr. Aneela. Till the surgery date Dr. Aneela and her nurse assistant Shinju kept a tab on us and ensured that I remain monitored and all my queries are being answered. A big thanks to Shinju here as well, as she was instrumental in acting as a bridge between us as the worried patients family and Dr. Aneela. Till the surgery date we were kept abreast of various appointments and requirements. On the day of surgery, just before the surgery Dr. Aneela again met me, gave me assurance and, while seeking the surgery and risk factor consent, I was again surprised that the consent form was duly filled in with all my details including the risk factors , all of which she again carefully explained to me and asked me to read them before signing. This further reassured me that we made the right decision. Post surgery Dr. Aneela continued to meet me during her daily rounds and was in full control of my case file. I know that deciding to undergo a neuro surgery and choosing the right Doctor is perhaps one of the biggest and scariest decisions that a patient may have to make, but based on my experience I strongly recommend neuro patients to consider Dr. Aneela as their neurosurgeon. Throughout my surgery journey Dr. Aneela has always been calm, composed, extremely confident, and always ready to answer our queries, and for me she is the go-to Neurosurgeon. Thank you Dr. Aneela.
