MAGRABI EYE AND EAR CENTER DAYCARE SURGERIES- L.L.C-O.P.C L.L.C DUBAI BRANCH – Mirdif

I recently visited Magrabi Sunglasses and was disappointed with the service. The store was quiet, which I understand, but the staff seemed uninterested and lacked product knowledge. I asked if they had Maui Jim, known for high-quality polarized lenses, and was quickly directed to Ray-Bans without any meaningful comparison. There was no greeting when I entered, and when I said I would think about it, there were no follow-up questions or effort to understand what I was looking for. I didn’t mention the glasses felt loose because it already felt like there wasn’t much interest in helping. This is the second sunglasses shop I’ve visited in Dubai, and I notice a pattern, staff are either desperate to sell or completely uninterested. With so much information online, it would be refreshing to meet someone who actually knows the products. I drive around 5pm daily and the sun is in my eyes, so I desperately want good sunglasses, but the overall attitude in this market makes the experience tiring.

I had a very disappointing experience with Magrabi Optics. They claim their glasses are anti-scratch, shock-resistant, and unbreakable, but that’s completely false. Within only four months, my glasses got badly scratched — even though I took great care of them. When I went back to the store, they refused to replace or repair them, saying it’s not covered by their policy. What’s even worse is that the salesperson who sold me the glasses clearly told me they were scratch-resistant and unbreakable. That was misleading and untrue. Honestly, Magrabi is the worst eyewear company I’ve ever dealt with. They don’t care about customer satisfaction or honesty. I absolutely do not recommend buying from them.

Mirdif City Centre branch has been the worst experience in terms of customer service and reliability. I was promised that my glasses would be delivered within two days, but when I followed up, I was told they had only just arrived that same day and that delivery wasn’t even available then. In the end, delivery was delayed for seven days. To make matters worse, when I finally collected the glasses, they were handed to me without a case — I honestly don’t know what they were expecting me to do.

I came to the store based on their strong reputation. This was my first time trying contact lenses, and I was advised to use the trial lenses first and to keep the box sealed in case they didn’t suit me. I followed that exactly . I tried one trial lens, and after a few days, I realized that contact lenses aren’t for me. I reached out to return the completely sealed, unopened box, but was told, “Sorry, they can’t be returned.” This was very disappointing, especially after following their own advice. I expected more from a place known for its reputation, which is the main reason I came in the first place.

Great staff specially Mr. Saad whi is very helpful and proactive several times. I like to visit this branch. Also. Ms. AML who is welcoming and well trained.
