Dr. Shibu Varghese – Orthopedic & Sports Surgeon in Abu Dhabi

I had visited this hospital multiple times the last 2/3 years but never have I ever faced something as pathetic as this situation. I had an issue with my leg that stopped me from walking and even laying down and then the pain spread over to my back as-well. I met the so called Orthopedic sport surgeon Mr Shibu Vargese, and at first he took an X-Ray, plastered my leg and asked to take rest unfortunately there was no benefit and when I visited him again he then asked to take a CT-SCAN which obviously needed my insurance approval from then started the headache. The insurance company kept rejecting stating that it needed some details from the Doctor and the Doctor kept telling me that I should talk to my insurance company to get it approved. It took almost 3-4 weeks for us running up and down with the pain worsening and the doctor re applying for CT-SCAN and the insurance company kept telling us that the Doctor has not send the proper details. At first we trusted the Doctor and felt that it was the issue from the Insurance company itself but on one occasion the Mr Shibu Varghese told my relative that “THERE IS NOT ANY BIG ISSUE WITH HER AND SHE SEEMS TO BE ACTING THE PAIN” . It felt really bad and we decided to change the Hospital. Once we met another doctor from a different hospital, he did proper diagnosis and suggested MRI which once the results came statedn“foraminal disc bulge and perineural cyst”nNow I really do not understand how Mr Shibu became a Doctor and how he could even say that statement that I was doing DRAMAA.

I drove one hour for this appointment based on positive google reviews. Unfortunately the consultation was disappointing- he seemed completely uninterested in my case. He did not show much care or empathy and wasn’t very clear regarding his clinical opinion.

I recently had Achilles tendon surgery performed by Dr. Shibu Varghese (orthopedic sports surgeon). Overall my experience was very positive and the staff was always helpful and kind.nDr. Shibu Varghese is punctual and maintain a strict, professional demeanor to ensuring high standard of care. His follow-up care is excellent, and he even made himself available for contact by phone, which was very reassuring.nI highly recommend Dr. Shibu Varghese for anyone needing this type of surgery.

I visited Dr. Shibu based on Google reviews and tbh I am quite disappointed. He pays little to no attention, perhaps seems he was not interested to understand the pain one is going through.
