Not a good experience. I had to cancel one appointment few hours before, and when I rescheduled after few days and went to the clinic, the doctor was a no show.nBut they asked me to pay a late fee for the previous appointment. And although I protested that I took a taxi to come to their clinic, and they only called me 30 min before, they still said I had to pay late appointment fees.nIt is really pity that at a clinic that in theory cares about patients they only care about money.

I got referred to Dr Joseph when I was at the lowest point in my life at 4 month pregnant. At first I hesitated to come but then could not be thankful enough for having met him. Dr Joseph is the best psychiatrist I have ever encountered in my life. He helped me deal with perinatal depression and administered me with safe medications during pregnancy. My depression was so severe that I needed constant support both from a psychiatrist and psychologist. Dr Joseph would speak to me everyday and make always himself available - even during his vacations or day off. One of the main reasons I managed to keep my child and not abort, was thanks to Dr Joseph who followed up with me continuously. Not only he has a deep knowledge of his field but also has this soft skill that ease patients.nnDuring that period he referred me to a senior psychologist in his clinic, Dr Rassil who has been of great support and helped me not falling in post partum depression. We created a plan before baby delivery in order to be ready and welcome my baby in the best conditions - where I would also be happy. I am very thankful to Rassil for avoiding me the worst but also being so understanding during each session. She is practical and straightforward.nnI have tried many doctors and many clinics in the UAE and would only recommend this clinic and doctors. All doctors at Valens Clinic are competent and deliver the best results possible.nnAgain, thank you very much.

Upon arriving, I was met with an unwelcoming and dismissive attitude. Upon asking questions about my insurance and the necessary paperwork, the receptionist responded harshly and seemed irritated by my presence and more interested in my husband than assisting me. Her lack of empathy and patience is particularly concerning in a mental health setting where patients might already be feeling vulnerable. She made an already stressful situation even worse. I hope the clinic addresses this issue to ensure patients receive the respect they deserve from the moment they walk in the door.
